By accessing or using fjord-stoat.tech (the "Website") and our culinary services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Use of Services

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to book our services independently. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Booking and Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers for corporate bookings.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations by You

• More than 14 days before the session: Full refund
• 7-14 days before the session: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days before the session: No refund, but you may transfer your booking to another person or reschedule to a future date (subject to availability)

Cancellations by Us

If we need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

No-Shows

If you fail to attend a booked session without prior notice, no refund will be provided.

Health and Safety

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

You must inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies, or food intolerances at the time of booking. While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Health Conditions

If you have any health conditions that may affect your participation (including pregnancy, mobility issues, or medical conditions), please inform us in advance so we can make appropriate accommodations.

Assumption of Risk

Cooking involves working with sharp objects, hot surfaces, and potentially hazardous equipment. By participating in our classes, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our instructors.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, recipes, and software, is the property of fjord-stoat or its content suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

Recipes and techniques taught in our classes are for personal use only. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, fjord-stoat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use our Services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

Conduct

When participating in our classes or using our Services, you agree to:

• Treat instructors and other participants with respect
• Follow safety instructions and guidelines
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Not disrupt the learning environment for others
• Not use mobile phones during active instruction (photography breaks will be provided)

We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately, and no refund will be provided in such cases.

Photography and Media

We occasionally take photographs and videos during our classes for marketing purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed or filmed. If you do not wish to be included in marketing materials, please inform us at the start of the session.

You are welcome to photograph your own creations and share them on social media. We appreciate when you tag us or use #fjordstoat.

Alcohol

Some of our experiences include wine pairings or cooking with alcohol. You must be 18 or older to consume alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone who appears intoxicated.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, strikes, or failure of utilities or transportation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Use shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on this Website, constitute the entire agreement between you and fjord-stoat concerning your use of our Services.
